Ascetic is a band looking for musical depth and essence. Meetings on the spiritual level and mutual contemplation that takes place through music. The compositions played by the band are simple and repetitive, which allows the musicians to focus on entering deep musical awareness. The band's inspirations include the John Coltrane’s quartet, the music of Hildegard from Bingen, Gregorian chant, music of American minimalists such as Steve Reich and Terry Riley, and the The Necks band.
 The intention of the band leader was to create a music platform through which it would be possible to go deeper, experience the community in search of transcendence as well as share it with the audience. Ascetic is a common path in this direction.
