A large number of Kinga's fans shows how much her person and work matter and have a positive impact on numerous generations of listeners of the present time. Kinga Głyk is considered to be the best Polish bassist and a rising star of jazz-blues-funk music.
She started her adventure with music when she was 12, playing in her hometown GŁYK P.I.K. TRIO. In March 2015, she released her debut album "Rejestracja", which received very good reviews from, for example Radio Trójka, the "Jazz Forum" magazine and "Twój Blues".
In 2016, Kinga recorded her second original live album entitled: "Happy Birthday".
In 2016, the "Tears in Heaven" video cover performed by Kinga Głyk received over 20 million views !!! In 2017, the artist's third album entitled "Dream" was released and accompanied by the following musicians: Tim Garland saxophone, Nitai Hershkovits piano, Gregory Hutchinson percussion. In 2019 Kinga Głyk received the Grand Prix award in the category -" New hope of Polish jazz music lovers ". The same year, during the Leverkusen Jazz Festival, the artist played with The legendary Marcus Miller! In 2018, Kinga Głyk was nominated in the "International bass guitar" category for the German Echo Jazz award. In 2019, her fourth original album entitled "Feelings" was released. Kinga has been recording for several years for one of the world's most prestigious record labels: Warner Music Group Germany. In 2021, Kinga was nominated together with Christian McBride and Wolfgang Muthspiel for the Deutscher Jazz Preis award.
The artist has performed multiple times on recognized stages and festivals around the world in countries such as Indonesia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Ukraine, Serbia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Romania, Hungary.
