Krzysztof Ścierański – a Polish bass guitarist, a session musician. He started to become successful at the age of 22 as a bassist in the jazz-rock Laboratorium band, where he recorded 5 albums and played several hundred concerts, also abroad, for example at festivals in Spain and India.
In 1980, at the invitation of Zbigniew Namysłowski, he joined the Air Condition band. A few days before the declaration of martial law, he played the first concert with his new band, String Connection by Krzesimir Dębski. After the band suspended its activities, Ścierański started implementing his own projects.
Nowadays he is playing with Bernard Maseli, as well as Zbigniew Jakubek, Marek Napiórkowski as well as Marek Raduli. He has cooperated with artists representing various musical genres, such as Ewa Bem, Tomasz Stańko, Ryszard Sygitowicz, Marek Grechuta, John Porter, Jan Pluta, Grzegorz Ciechowski, Marek Wilczyński, the Wilki band, the Krzak band and many others.
At the festival, he is going to present his unique artistry in a solo project.
