Five-time winner of the American Grammy Award. He has recorded with artists such as Billy Cobham, Bruce Springsteen, Charles Mingus, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Horace Silver, Frank Zappa, Chris Parker, Jaco Pastorius, Dire Straits and many others. He also played on the first Blood, Sweat and Tears album, "Child Is Father to the Man", but he left the group with Al Kooper – the founder and Jerry Weiss – the trumpeter.

AMC Trio is a Slovak piano trio; although it is true that the trio is Slovak, it is less true that it is always a piano trio ... Anyway it is true that it is a group of three musicians with the best jazz networking in the world. Musicians such as: Randy Brecker, Philip Catherine, Bill Evans, Ulf Wakenius, Mark Whitfield, Michael "Patches" Stewart and many others have repeatedly joined forces with the AMC Trio as special guests at concerts or as studio associates to form quartets out of the trio.
This amazing band, which built their musical foundations in mainstream jazz, has been operating for about twenty years. AMC Trio has successfully developed its own language and style, making it recognizable and unique. In its compositions, it manages to evoke very real emotions and stories. Playing with their own material is a natural and preferred way of working for them. Although they have roots in Slovak culture, the compositions sound internationally since the trio goes beyond traditional jazz techniques and strives for a multi-genre sound. Their music draws from the variety and smooth melody of the themes it undertakes, inspired by, for example, popular and classical music, melodies from eastern Slovakia folk music, and even nature, literature, spirituality and all kinds of beauty. AMC Trio has released six studio albums, of which One Way Road To My Heart received the Radio_Head Award for the best jazz album of 2013. The last "Ad Fontes", in which the trio together with the Folk Band Of Stano Baláž presents arrangements of Slovak folk tunes, received the public award for the best album in 2017 in the Esprit competition.
