The Mateusz Kaszuba Trio presents a modern approach to group interaction – the musicians believe that playing in an ensemble should be based above all on listening and mutual inspiration on stage, resulting in the unique sound of each of the trio’s concerts. The group focuses primarily on the leader’s original compositions as well as contemporary arrangements of jazz standards.

Mateusz Kaszuba – Winner of numerous awards at competitions and festivals across Poland. He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the Henryk Majewski Post-Secondary Jazz School in Warsaw, and the Jazz Department of the Academy of Music in Kraków in Piotr Wyleżoł’s class. He studied under many outstanding artists of the New York music scene, including Aaron Goldberg, Matt Penman, Greg Hutchinson, Mike Moreno, Kendrick Scott, Greg Osby, Eric Wortham, Dave Douglas, Jason Palmer, Judy Niemack, and Dena DeRose.

Michał Rutkowski – A graduate of the double bass class at the Jazz Department of “Bednarska”. With Witold Janiak’s trio, he has performed in France, Germany, Algeria, and the United Arab Emirates. Winner of the Special Award at the Tarnów Jazz Contest 2020/2021.

Artur Małecki – A graduate of the Stanisław Moniuszko State School of Music in Łódź in the class of Radosław Bolewski, and of the Jazz Department of the Fryderyk Chopin State School of Music in Warsaw in the class of Dr Krzysztof Gradziuk. He is currently a student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków in the class of Dr Łukasz Żyta and Dr Wojciech Fedkowicz.
