The common goal of the members of Krakow's Omasta is to explore new paths in music without blurring the old ones. The group draws inspiration from street and jazz culture.
Despite their short tenure, the band has performed in many cities in Poland and abroad (Jazz Cafe, Ronnie Scott's - London, UK; Ancienne Belgique, Gent Jazz Festival - Belgium, Bird, Soundunbound - the Netherlands). He has played with artists such as Tenderlonious, Aquiles Navarro - Irreversible Entanglements, Leszek Żądło and Peja. They also supported the legendary Slum Village. The band is releasing their debut album this autumn on the Polish label Astigmatic Records.
